MoneyLog is a product and trademark managed by NOVASOFT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.C., identified with Peruvian Taxpayer ID (RUC) 20573154828 and domiciled at Calle Pisac 140, Coop. 27 de Abril, Ate, Lima, Peru ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MoneyLog application ("the App", "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the service
MoneyLog is a tool to log income and expenses, organize entries by category, manage members per activity and attach receipts. We are not a financial institution, we are not regulated by any banking authority and we do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
To use the Service you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is true and agree to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity that takes place through your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in good faith and not to:
- Use it for unlawful, fraudulent activities or to infringe third-party rights.
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with the Service, attempt to access other accounts without authorization, or circumvent security measures.
- Use the Service to process personal data of third parties without an appropriate legal basis.
4. Your content and your data
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service (transactions, categories, attachments, notes). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you and for the members you choose to share it with. You can export or delete your content at any time from the App.
5. Activities, members and roles
You may create one or more "activities" inside the App. As the administrator of an activity you are the controller of the data you enter into it and you may invite additional members. Invited members will see information according to the role you assign them. You are responsible for managing the permissions you grant.
6. Intellectual property in the service
The code, the "MoneyLog" trademark, logos, user interface and other elements of the Service are owned by NOVASOFT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.C. or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights over those elements other than the limited right to use the App as described here.
7. Changes and availability of the service
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify or suspend the Service, in whole or in part, for technical, security, legal or business reasons. When reasonable, we will give advance notice of material changes.
8. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from the App or by contacting us by email. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if the use puts the Service or other users at risk, or if required by law. Upon termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Calculations, totals and reports are provided for reference and do not replace formal accounting or tax review.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NOVASOFT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.C. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (i) the amounts actually paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event or (ii) one hundred Peruvian soles (S/ 100.00).
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold NOVASOFT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.C. harmless against any claim, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, (b) the content you upload to the Service, or (c) your infringement of third-party rights.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute related to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the judges and courts of Cercado de Lima, Peru, unless applicable law establishes a mandatory, non-waivable forum.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when we consider it necessary. We will publish the current version inside the App and indicate the date of the last update. If the changes are material we will notify you through reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after the changes are published means acceptance of the updated version.
